Watercare Services Limited (Watercare) – the bulk water and wastewater service provider for Greater Auckland – is proposing to construct a new water main to carry treated water from Redoubt North Reservoir in Manukau to Market Road in Epsom. Along its route it will connect with the local water supply network in Manukau and Auckland cities. The new water main will be called the Hunua No. 4 Trunk Water main (“Hunua 4 Watermain”).

Thank you to members for their help with fund raising raffle tickets. The results from the raffle draw on 29 July (delayed one week) are as follows:

Thank you to YMCA Jordon Recreation Centre for their support with the prize of a year long gym membership and to the Mad Butcher for their two meat packs. Thank you also to the Onehunga Business Association who contributed shopping vouchers to be spent in Onehunga, Hedgehog Bikes and to Haysom Print.

Raffle Draw Postponed

The Onehunga Enhancement Society raffle draw advertised for Saturday 20th June has been postponed until Monday 29th June 2009.  The winners will be contacted by phone and names published on the in the NZ Herald (4th of July) and the Onehunga Community News August edition. 

We have had to postpone the raffle at the last minute because a number of raffle books posted out were not returned. If you have overlooked returning any sold/unsold tickets or books please urgently send back now to TOES, PO Box 13-379 Onehunga.
