Foreshore cuts upset Onehunga

Onehunga community leaders are furious at a bid by Auckland City staff to reduce the scale of a foreshore restoration plan championed by Mayor John Banks.
There are two upcoming council meetings at which TOES will be presenting and which some of our members will be interested in attending.
Meeting details are as follows:
City Development Committee- they will be considering the proposed Master Plan for the Onehunga lagoon and foreshore. Our understanding is that the proposed Master Plan is not likely to reflect the communities wishes and this is one of the key issues we are presenting on.
