TOES is making a presentation to the Auckland City Council regarding the Westward Shift of SH20.

We are seeking a strong show of community support.

Transit has commissioned a feasibility study for alternative motorway options taking into account the TOES Vision Statement. Whilst the project is shown as feasible and affordable, we must now convince Government, ARC ACC, Transit and DOC by 30th April 2008 that this is what our community requires to repair the damage to the Onehunga foreshore over the last 50 years.

To this end, TOEs is making a presentation to Auckland City Council on 28th February, seeking Westward shift of the motorway and works in line with our vision.

It has become apparent that we need to have a significant number of supporters present at this important council meeting, to show strong community support, and demonstrate that TOES is not a small radical group.
