OPERA AFTERNOON AT THE ONEHUNGA COMMUNITY HOUSE

This will be at 2 p.m. Saturday 26 November at the Onehunga Community House features Soojin Baek, an opera singer who has had much overseas experience. Soojin has a beautiful voice, and great musical sensitivity. For part of the programme she will be joined by Greg Patel, a well known Auckland operatic tenor.

The programme is mixed, some operatic and some modern classics. It includes: -

• Vissi d'arte, vissi d'amore from Tosca by Puccini
• Stride La Vampa from Il Trovatore by Verdi
• Dich Teure Halle from Tannhauser by Wagner
• Lascia ch'il Pianga from Rinaldo by Hanel
• All I Ask Of  You from Phantom Of the Opera by Lloyd Weber
• Summertime by Gershwin
