Work is about to commence on widening the motorway into the lagoon park with the removal of the trees before an agreement, being sought by TOES between all stakeholders, is in place.

The TOES committee has been actively involved in 11th hour discussions.

However, a number of people in the community are incensed at the activities that are now occurring in the park.

We have been advised that they are planning to hold a protest early tommorow evening between 5.30 and 6pm.

We strongly encourage you to attend to show your disapproval of the work about to commence.
